Except for the annuals I planted, none of my garden is booming yet. Last night it was 10c so everything is behind with the cool and rainy weather. I hate cutting grass lol.

Thank you for this content. We battle Japanese beetles. We removed all of our Lilies. The roses flush new growth and blooms. The beetles shred them. We’ve lost so many roses, but strive to grow them for their matchless beauty. We’ve not had success with lavender until we planted Phenomenal. We loose some, but many persist and look well. We fight enormous deer pressure. We want simpler maintenance. So we are slowly converting to flowering shrubs.

So many great tips and this is just perfect for me as I needed to prune my roses and salvia. Thank you so much you are a big help blessings!

You had quite a bit of color on some of your salvia. Could you have waited longer before cutting back this salvia to enjoy the color a bit longer?

Hi Marta! In one of your recent videos you mentioned June is a great time to start foxgloves for next year. I bought the potting soil, seed starting soil and foxglove seeds, but I'm just not sure how to start them - should I start them in individual seed trays? Bigger pots with lots of seeds? I would love to see a step by step guide on how you do it, or even a clip of what your little seedlings look like and how you care for them, when you plant them out, etc. Thanks for sharing your knowledge, I look forward to your videos each week.

Hi, Marta! Are your roses in dappled shade?

Thank you for this beautiful insight! Although my roses can’t do best due to suboptimal sun exposure (I‘d rather have your birches instead of my oak 😅), I still am amazed how well they do. I also only have about 25 different varieties of roses, many of them also David Austin roses, from which my favorite would be Lady Emma Hamilton mostly because of the incredible scent. But overall I find Anna Purna the most exquisite rose with best scent, elegant flowers and pretty foliage - even though not the easiest to grow. Many greetings from Nuremberg/ Germany

I have the same hydrangea plant, but it blooms only once in the beginning of the season, but the flowers are gone now. What is the problem? I don't know , it's been happening for two years regularly . Please guide me.

You and your garden are the most beautiful thing to come out of Poland since the Witcher. One of my favorite thing about the Witcher games is the plant scenery and a lot of it really resembles your garden.

Our cat gets quite “high” from a catnip plant so I was curious how catmint would affect him. He was interested in it initially but quickly lost interest. It did not seem to affect his behavior like the other plant. None of the neighborhood cats that frequent our garden at night have shown any interest in it, either.

3:40 some David Austin roses can be quite stinky.

Love your videos Marta. I live in Adelaide Australia where it is hot and dry. Mediterranean type of climate. Souther hemisphere so currently in winter. I planted a yellow petunia in a pot last summer and it is still blooming now mid winter! It is in a beautiful sunny sheltered spot. I took notes of the plants you have there and will look out for them next spring.

I love Geranium Rozanne...I have it growing in almost complete shade but it doesn't skip a beat from growth or flowering. Such a great perennial!

I also have a SuperTunia flower wall on my patio. I used Royal Velvet and Blue-Veined, along with Sparkling Amethyst Superbena. I used SuperTunia Vistas last year and am curious to see how this year’s selections compare.

If you mold copper pipe tape on the edge of your wood planter boxes, you will have less or no slugs. They hate copper!
